Gavin & Alex's Wedding, Fairyhill, Gower

I don’t know where to begin in trying to summarise this awesome day into one or two short paragraphs - it just won't do it justice. Do I talk about the the sheer magnitude of having 150+ friends and loved ones together to celebrate, the newsworthy best man’s speech that was reported in print and radio – I just don’t know where to start !!

The forecast for Halloween was not exactly 'ideal wedding weather', but thankfully, despite the ‘bad news’ presented by the weather experts Mother Nature held off long enough to ensure Jon and I were able to get everything we needed. We started out by both making our way to the luxurious Fairyhill Venue, nestled within the greenery of the Gower, where I covered Alex and her bridal party’s preparations and Jon saw to Gav and his groomsmen. Following a beautiful service held within the glass walled reception room, we set about capturing many timeless images of the couple with their nearest and dearest. As I alluded to earlier, after the delightful wedding breakfast the entire party settled in to some very amusing speeches where Carl the best man totally stole the show with his ‘Greatest Showman’ tribute to the couple. Then, that forecasted heavy rain hit the Gower Peninsula, which actually at that point of the day was very well received by Jon and I as it allowed us to capture some utterly uniques shots of the couple amidst the downpour. For me, one of those would be the shot that would be hanging over the mantle at home – check them out as a few of the final pics.
